Terraforce delves into Permeable Interlocking Concrete Pavers (PICP) systems early on

The trend to counter the exponential growth of sealed trafficable surfaces in urban areas started to take root around 1980, possibly even a few years earlier. 12/2021 – Welcome to Brix, Terraforce Licensee, Egypt!

End November, Terraforce flew to Egypt to visit our new partners, Brix. Even though we had to cut our trip short due to sudden flight restrictions because of Omicron being discovered in South Africa, we had four successful days in Cairo. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting the team at the factory in New Cairo, as well as meeting companies EIWC and Egypt Grid to establish new working relationships.

8/2019 – Welcome to Ecocrete, new Free State Terraforce Licensee!

Last month we welcomed Ecocrete as our new Terraforce licensed manufacturer covering the Free State Province, ZA. 3/2019 – 40 years of commitment to technical excellence!

The year 2019 marks our 40th anniversary of being engaged in the earth retaining and erosion control industry.

Initially as a supplier and installer of wire mesh gabions, we soon switched to the more sustainable concrete block method of our own design. It was a good choice, and with only one competitor from Europe in this sector, our business grew steadily and is now represented by dedicated licensees on all continents. (more…)

10/2017 – Welcome to our new Terraforce family in Canada and Algeria!

Terraforce operates on five continents (find your closest supplier) through a growing  Terraforce family number of licensees. They have recognized and chosen Terraforce as an earth retaining system that offers design choices, unequaled by others. In return for a modest royalty they have access to substantial marketing and design information.

An ongoing programme of development and performance tests will ensure access to new evaluation reports, case studies and innovative design software at all times.

4/2016 – Licensee highlight: Poort Beton, Northern Cape

Strauss Groep (Strauss Group) is a multidisciplinary construction group with a labour force of approximately 450 employees. Over the past 48 years this one-man enterprise has  grown into a group of companies (IT5 Siviel, Poort Beton and Strauss Meganies). They are currently directed and managed by the second generation. 6/2014 – Getting a grip with the new Decorwall block

October 2011 Murray & Roberts Western Cape, an operating division of Murray & Roberts Construction, was awarded a R193-million contract to construct the R300-million Willowbridge Place office development. The new development is located on the corner of Old Oak Road and Carl Cronje Drive, Tyger Valley in the northern suburbs of Cape Town. (more…)
