14/2013 – Terraforce blocks in the UAE
As the year comes to an end, we would like to share with you some images of Terraforce projects photographed in the UAE.
Of particular interest was a re-visit to the 4×4 Multi step staircases and terraced retaining walls on Palm Jumeirah Island that provide erosion control for the beaches on the fronds and access to the lagoons.

Home owners along the fronds landscaped the walls fronting their homes according to specific tastes, creating a spectrum of creative possibilities that read like a “the countless ways to landscape and plant your Terraforce walls” manual.

Also we were pleased to visit an old friend from Namibia, Bryan Newby, who is currently supervising the installation of a Terraforce seawall, complete with precast foundations below mean sea level. More on this project during the coming year, speaking of which – it’s time to wish you all a restful festive season and good health in the New Year.
