As we enter another year of the Covid saga, we hold thumbs tightly that there will be a turnaround of lockdowns, curfews and any other restrictions placed on industries and life in general.

For us, business has mostly continued as normal, but tougher than before, within the confines that the Pandemic placed on us as a business. Luckily retaining walls are mostly indispensable, especially ones that are versatile, technically established and proven over more than 40 years and lastly, fully plantable and durable.

We are also always particularly proud of projects that become repeat “offenders”, so to say, those that use Terraforce blocks recurrently for the same location, as is happening at a prestigious housing development in the Dubai, UAE.

Sinan Awad, Al Aamal Construction, landed his first contract in 2018 at the site, a large development – Dubai Hills by Emaar and Meraas – to install the first Terraforce retaining wall. The engineers, KEO International Consultants and main contractor ARCD, where so impressed with the product and quality of work, that the L16 blocks, manufactured by Consent LLC in Dubai, have been consistently used in various sections of the development up until 2022.

Below we share some images of recent and older walls that showcase the first-rate aesthetic value Terraforce retaining walls have added to the estate. The undulating terraced outdoor spaces are landscaped using the rockface finish, creating parks, walkways, playgrounds and sporting facilities which the residents can easily access via ramps and stairs.
