The Terraforce landscaping retaining wall system is available in South Africa and other countires in a smaller size block, known as the Terralite, the primary application of which is the DIY market.

In Canada and California, the block has been available for many years and is sold extensively through nurseries and landscape suppliers. It is playfully called the `ladies block' because of its light weight and appropriateness for small landscaping installations and is available in various colours.

It can be used to create flowerbed borders, tree rings, braai places, patio walls, driveway walls, garden landscapes and any light retaining needed around the house.

It also merges seamlessly from a vertical to an inclined wall. It is supplied largely with the rockface finish. It can be used to create steps by reversing the block and changing the texture and it can be used in combination with the Stair-block. The 150mm riser of the 4x4 Stairblock matches the Terralite height.

Its applications include light retaining walls, architectural features, terracing and seating, flowerbed surrounds and tree rings. Terralite is setting new standards for low landscaping terraces, stairs and features under 1 m in height. Depending on the height and inclination, walls may be installed with or without reinforcing or backfill.
